Visual Narrative - The Visual Journalist

One of the themes I know I want to do is 'Woodlands and Parks' because I always want to wander through woods but never end up doing so - this project is a perfect excuse for me to get into some woods. 

I am struggling a bit with what to do for my second theme - I'm not sure whether to branch out off the list or not. Things I'm thinking of are 

• Zoos/Wildlife parks/ Sanctuarys etc - I visited tropical world on Friday so I already have some research if I went down this route. I'm really interested in drawing reptiles - maybe I could visit exotic pet stores. 
• Museums - Cliffe Castle is gr8 also I havent been to the National Media Museum in ages - there are loads of museums I could go to 
• Markets - I really do want to draw the german market but there are loads of options for this - Leeds Market, Keighley Market, Skipton Market, Farmers Markets etc (I'm kind of swaying towards this one because of the German market - my only worry is that I'm quite shy so talking to the stall holders puts me off. 
• Piercing shops - I could get a first hand experience by getting a piercing & take photos of people who have just got a piercing. I am unsure about this because I don't think I would be able to get photos of people getting pierced /the equipment / room etc but I'd have to find out when I got there

I'm wondering whether to research a little on all these places before making a solid decision on what to do. (Most would be easy to do as theres stuff in the town centre I can visit)
