I absolutely fell behind at the start of this so I had next to no work for the crit, I only really had ideas and no imagery - which was dumb. I'm planning my time this week to get on top of this project though.
Despite this the crit was really helpful to get me going as it gave me a lot of thoughts on where to go - visually from my written ideas and research.
The ideas I presented were: Tea, and places they're from (e.g. Yorkshire Tea, Harrogate. Assam Tea and Guwahati (the only city in Assam), Sweet Tea and a city in southern North America (though I'm not sure where yet). Middle Earth Cities, Cities that Smell and Cities with Giant Fruit.
Tea: Suggestions of other teas to look at - Roobios tea, Red Leaf tea, Green Tea
Middle Earth: Look at ways to make this my own as it could come off fan -art like but could also be really successful. Info graphics might be useful to look at. Are there things to do with the cities? Crests etc.
Cities that Smell: Do they have to be cities that smell bad? How do you make smells visible? - Facial expressions?
Places with Giant Fruit: Change to giant stuff because there may not be many places known for their giant fruit (Like Limone and it's giant lemons). Find places like "home to the biggest cookie/pizza" etc.
